Anyone want Loofah seeds?

4 or our 9 Loofahs are now dry and have had the seeds removed.

We only need 5 to start our vine and even with a false start in our first planting.

As these were sold to me as African Loofahs I am not sure if they will grow elsewhere in the world, however I am willing to send to anyone....for a small favour!

Submit a frugal living tip on my Simple Green Living website, then send me your postal address on my contact form and I will send you 5 - 7 seeds to grow in Spring.

Loofahs are best suited to more tropical regions but we managed to grow them well in our area that is NOT tropical. This offer expires when all the seeds have been allocated to those who submit a tip! Thanks.

Yeah, we have those in Malaysia. That's a tropical vegetable fruit.

I wish I could say yes please but Tasmania is in a unique position as far as disease and pest control go because we are an Island State. Everything organic is subject to quarentine and I love this place too much to even bring in seeds. Pretty much most of my blog is about frugality and you are welcome anytime. I hope you get lots of great tips from the takers and I look forward to reading their suggestions. Great idea for sharing.

You are so very generous! I'm sure I don't live where we could grow those, and sadly, I am not home year round to do the gardening justice. I should check to see if they are a featured item at our conservatory at home.

I have been wanting you to know, I got my seeds about two weeks ago. I have been busy moving in and around.

Thank you, thank you. I am fixing to plant them and get growing. I live in a sub-tropical climate and it is still over 100` everyday here. I am so excited and thankful!!
