All things green...

This morning in the early sun I was so pleased by the color in my vegetables.

Pumpkins growing up the trellis...

The first potatoes planted in September waving hello...

My courgettes, all the way from the UK...

And my knee high Indian Rainbow Corn.

There is growing a white fluffy fungus on everything I throw into my new wormfarm.Do you think this is something to worry about? If I lift it up the worm are eating on it.

Hi Sonja

The mould is forming because your worms aren't able to keep up with the amounts you are feeding them.

Take a stick and stir it all up then slow down on feeding them for a while until you see they have managed to catch up.

How lovely! Everything's so green and lush. We are so brown and dull here.

BTW, I've been enjoying your blog and have added you to my One Lovely Blog Award post: http://commonsensehomesteading.blogspot.com/2009/11/one-lovely-blog-award.html

Enjoy your garden!

Hi Laurie

Thanks for the blog award!

Today we have rain on the way and with Cape Town's winds we always get some damage to new crops.

Hope it's not too much this time.
