I was always told not to count my chickens before they hatch, but when I walk around my garden in the morning there is so much to look forward too...
Tomatoes, full and green....
Pumpkins....
My second attempt at loofahs
My African corn...
It's hard not to anticipate the juicy sweetness of a sun ripened tomato, the first squeaky munch of some corn on the cob, cucumbers bursting with juice, pumpkin to eat with cinnamon and sugar....mmmh...I know what the sages say, but I can't help doing it all the same!

hi Wendy
You have me drewling(sp?) all over the computer now (",) ... LEKKER!
I don't want to sound dumb, but what is 'Loofah'?
Enjoy your break...
Hi my friend,
Well the loofah is not something to eat....but it is a cucumber-ish type grower which you can dry and the left over fibre can be used as a sponge for cleaning or bathrooms use.
I have wanted to make them part of our Christmas gifts with homemade soap but my first loofah vines died:-((
So no loofah's for gifts this year but I will be able to get rid of the non biodegradable kitchen sponges for myself.
Have a blessed Christmas, Merinda.
:-) Thanks Wendy
I thought so, but wasn't sure. Hope the second batch will be successful...
A blessed christmas for you as well, with a lot of love and happiness
Love you lots
Merinda
